Our club is run for the members, by the members. In the mornings it's not paid staff who unpack the hangar, inspect everything for serviceability and set the airfield up: it's our keen members.
With briefings at 9am each weekend morning, and sometimes earlier in the summer, it's plain to see that everyone is fanatical about gliding, and ensuring that they can use every available minute of the daylight.
With flying occurring at every available opportunity, we've seen Oxfordshire from snowy winter, to hot and dry summers, from windy autumns to dodging spring showers: when we can fly, we will.
We are always looking for new members to join our team and get stuck in. There are opportunities to develop skills beyond learning how to fly:
Flying operations and instructing
Aircraft, ground equipment and building maintenance
Sales and marketing, social media and event management
